Zero-emission renovated quay completed!

We recently completed the renovation of quays 0102 and 0103 on Kloveniersburgwal and handed them over to the municipality of Amsterdam. During the renovation of these quays, we challenged ourselves to carry out the work entirely emission-free.

The wharf has its face back

It remains intriguing: for months we have been working to create the supporting structure for the new quay wall. A process of filling in hollow spaces, drilling large tubular piles, drilling small tubular piles and assembling all the adjusting devices.

At an iconic location in the heart of Amsterdam, yesterday we drilled the 50th tube pile for the quay renewal on the Kloveniersburgwal. Not an everyday spot: this pile went into the ground under a crown of trees and right next to the wing wall of the Bushuisluisbrug.
